Organizational Resilience, Inclusive Markets, and Strategic Alignment in Contemporary Business

Ana Pinto Borges, Elvira Vieira, Jorge Remondes

Abstract

The 12(2) 2026 issue of the European Journal of Applied Business and Management (EJABM) brings together five peer-reviewed contributions from researchers based in Nigeria, Mexico, and Spain, addressing relevant and emerging challenges in contemporary business and management.

The articles explore diverse but interconnected themes, including psychological ownership and psychological capital in the healthcare sector, inclusive marketing strategies for neurodivergent consumers, the strategic alignment of supply chain management, organizational determinants of migration-induced turnover intention, and the relationship between environmental image, green innovation, greenwashing, and corporate reputation.

Together, these contributions highlight the importance of understanding organizations from multiple perspectives, combining human, strategic, social, and environmental dimensions. By bringing together different geographical contexts and methodological approaches, this issue contributes to the ongoing discussion on organizational resilience, inclusion, strategic alignment, talent retention, and sustainable business practices.

We hope that this issue provides valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers and encourages further research and evidence-based approaches to the evolving challenges facing organizations and society.
