Focus and Scope
1. The European Journal of Applied Business and Management (EJABM) is an international double-blind peer-reviewed, open-acess academic journal that publishes original research articles (empirical and theoretical) in the field of applied business, such as business strategy marketing, entrepreneurship, innovation, human resource management, organizational behavior, organizational theory and international business.
2. EJABM published periodic issues (quarterly) per year and special issues, devoted to specific subjects and/or business sectors.

Specifically, the journal publishes research in the fields of strategic management; innovation management; entrepreneurship; services management; human resource management; knowledge management; change management; operations management; financial management; organisational behaviour; accounting; marketing; organisational analysis; ethics in business; motivation; applied economics. Related fields are also welcome.
3. EJABM welcomes original papers, review articles and short communications of empirical, methodological or conceptual nature. EJABM gives particular attention to contributions of high-quality and empirically oriented manuscripts supported by various quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.

Peer Review Process
1. The European Journal of Applied Business and Management (EJABM) is a double-blind peer-review journal.
2. All submited manuscripts go through analysis of a plagiarism detection software (Turnitin) before the review process.
3. All submitted manuscripts pass through a double-blind system for peer-review in which both reviewers and authors' identities remain anonymous.
4. The European Journal of Applied Business and Management counts with a team of external reviewers (to both the editorial team and the owner institution), composed by a field of reknowned experts in EJABM's research topics.
The review process consists in evaluating the manuscript consideing the following topics:
- Originality of the paper;
- Relevance to EJABM's audience;
- Adequacy of the methodology;
- Quality of literature review;
- Writing style an clearness of the arguments.
Thus, after submitting the evaluation, each reviewer is asked to conclude with a proposal for acceptance, revision or rejection of the assessed manuscript.
The editor's decision is final and is forwarded to the author with the recommendations/comments by the reviewers.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Editorial Board responsibilities
The European Journal of Applied Business and Management encourages the best standards of the scientific procedures, and the higher standards of communication and publication ethics. The Editorial Board will take measures against any publication malpractices.
The following responsibilities and rules apply for every submitted paper:
- All submitted manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer-review system, with rules and forms previously approved by the Scientific Committee and available in EJABM’s website.
- All submitted manuscripts go through a plagiarism detection software before being sent to review.
- The review process consists in an objective evaluation of the following aspects: a) Originality of the manuscript; b) Relevance to EJABM’s audience; c) Adequacy of the methodology; d) Quality of the literature review; e) Writing style and clearness of the arguments. Following this evaluation, the reviewer is asked to make a recommendation on the submission, within the following: a) accept; b) revisions required; and c) reject.
- Rejected manuscripts will not be re-reviewed. The editor’s decision is final.
- Manuscript acceptance is constrained by legal requirements. Copyright infringement and/or plagiarism will not be tolerated.
Authors responsibilities
The authors who intend to submit their manuscripts to the EJABM are responsible for the following:
- Certify that their manuscripts consist of original work.
- Engage in the peer-review process, considering reviewers comments and act accordingly.
- All named authors must have significantly contributed to the research and the final manuscript.
- EJABM must be informed of any conflict of interest that may apply.
- All references in the manuscript are cited in the reference section. All third parties work is properly referenced.
Reviewers’ responsibilities
The reviewers should keep private and confidential all information regarding the manuscripts. Reviewers shall act objectively, considering the official review form the EJABM provides. When suspecting any malpractice, the reviewer should inform the Editorial Board.
